I never thought I could do this, but as you can see the end result doesn't look too bad. I always wondered how to get such a coating and on Rose Bakes I finally found what I was looking for. It's called Fondant. Well, never heard of it, until now. So I tried it out. But to find all the ingredients in my country made it a little bit hard, but with a little bit creativity I got an awesome tasting white Marshmallow Fondant.
First of all, I made the biscuit cake, cut it in to halves put some apricot kam between the layers and put one of the layer on top of the other one.
Covered it with butter cream, to have a better foundation for the marshmallow fondant.
Well, I experiment a little bit with the food colors, as you can see :). Got a great green biscuit cake.
On the picture you can see the little toilet. It's made out of the white fondant with a little pink food color.
This is how a fondant should look, after a lot of packages of powder sugar and finger muscle cramps.
Ok, I confess this Barbie doll is a bought one. Yeah, you can judge me, but I would have need months, even years to mold one of these. I put all together and finished it up with some little extras and there we go.
